At the 2017-2018 U in the Driver Seat Symposium, attendees were asked to participate in a 60-second video challenge. College teams had one week to complete the video and garner social media engagements for a quarter of their final score. Teams were also scored on creativity, messaging, and video quality. The theme for this year’s video contest was being a mindful driver and teams could talk about any driving risks, including; distractions, impairments, speeding, and lack of buckling up. Unbiased judges from the Symposium, including session speakers, voted on the top three winning videos.
